400 Grain Wide Long Flat Nose Gas Check +L sized to .500” or .501." Meplat is .385” and nose length is .484.” Safe for use in Desert Eagle handguns. Load data for .500 Bushwhacker, .500 S&W Magnum, .500 Wyoming Express, and .50 AE is available upon request.

The 400 grain WFNGC (the same bullet design with .375" nose projection) will achieve somewhat lower velocities in the .500 Bushwhacker and .500 S&W Magnum, though unlike the +L, it is practical to dual crimp this design (this is useful in countering recoil-induced bullet pull in .500 Bushwhacker revolvers).

Both the 400 grain WFNGC and the 400 grain WLFNGC +L are suitable for use in the .500 Wyoming Express with our reformed brass (only the standard WFNGC should be considered for use in Jamison produced brass). The velocity difference between the two is negligible, however, and the lesser projection of the standard WFNGC makes it preferable for use in the FA Model 83 revolvers. Given the tight chambers of these revolvers, .500" sizing is superior in this application.

As the respective crimp grooves are not utilized in the .50 AE, the WFNGC and WLFNGC bullets are interchangeable for use in this cartridge.
