Our TII X-Frame Blank Compensator takes the place of the factory compensator on the 4" and 8.375" S&W Model 500s, as well as the 5" and 8.375" S&W Model 460s, thereby diminishing blast and increasing felt recoil. For our +L loads, we strongly advise our customers to either retain the factory compensator or install one of our X-Frame Muzzle Brake Adaptors for further recoil reduction.
